A Holder of the Certificate:
I began to use the
Visual PHP product about one year ago. I began with the trial version and then continued through the Single and Professional versions to the Enterprise version at the present.
What I regard as absolute strengths and differentiation from competitors (if there are any :-) ) –
the uniqueness and flexibility of the product – the option to buy it with the option to pay 50% + 2x 25% of the product price – the prices of the licences (available also to beginning developers) – paying always only the difference between individual licence versions – and what is the most important to us, developers – luxury service from the support department and Tomáš Kočí’s human approach.
It is hard to criticize anything. It is true that this product has been developed a bit and debugged on the way during the year for which I have been using it. Maybe it is also a bit
thanks to us how the current
Visual PHP version works and what it is able to do and how it is already stable and functional even when using worse hosting spaces.
There are only a few little things that have occurred to me that I would also debug. Nevertheless, I have something:
- I would divide manuals for developers and administrators into versions.
- For the Single version, I would draw up a manual for an absolute non-specialist (as this product can be used
even without any knowledge of PHP and MySQL).
- In the manuals, I would give more examples and options for given components and functions, a longer list of options and commands, if there are any, (also in the form of print screens) that can be used there.
- I would uniform field names in the Czech language in
Visual PHP (this is has partly been done, but there is still too much English there :-) )
- Further, I would create the option to display the particular help with examples in components for individual fields.
- I would lower the prices of your hosting related to projects designed in
Visual PHP.
With best regards,
Your satisfied
Visual PHP user
