Licences for Visual PHP™ Versions
Available licenses
Three types of licences are granted for
Visual PHP™. A Developer Licence states a range of functions, tools and modules that developers will have at their disposal. An End User Licence is granted free of charge to the holder of a Developer Licence and is intended for the protection of the intellectual property of the author of an Internet presentation. An Update Licence allows you to obtain free of charge
Visual PHP™ updates within a given period.
Visual PHP™ Single Developer License for DevelopersAn initial licence that allows you only to use Visual PHP™ under one developer access account. This licence allows visual developing Internet presentations, allows creating new database tables and contains only certain functions, tools and modules of the Professional Version. This licence includes an Update Licence free of charge for 1 year at the beginning. It is intended especially for beginning developers and for all those who want to achieve a higher level than usual blogs.
Visual PHP™ ProfessionalThis licence includes an Update Licence free of charge for 1 year at the beginning. Here it is possible both to work independently and in the case more licences are bought more developers can work on one project at the same time. The Professional Version contains basic tools for Web site creation. Thanks to its possibilities, this version is designed for the professional category because it is possible to create also full-value professional projects using it, as software allows.
Visual PHP™ Enterprise This licence includes an Update Licence for 1 year at the beginning. Compared with the Professional version, this licence is extended to include additional tools and modules. This version offers all that
Visual PHP™ With regard to functions, its range of applications is very wide and it falls within the group of above-standard professional.

View the EULA for Visual PHP™End User Licence (a licence for an end user) A licence made out for an end user, allowing the end user to use
Visual PHP™ for the administration of the contents of an Internet presentation (not for the creation of Internet presentations for other entities). This licence allows access using a user account (“admin” as a rule) under the Administrators user group or a user group with more limited access rights.
The administration of these licences is fully within the competence of a company owning Developer Licences. This licence may be limited to a domain (www.company.com) or made out on a company name.
Furthermore, it is possible to limit the validity of a licence to a certain period (i.e. to create the so-called trial version for a customer where the time-unlimited licence is made out for the customer after making the payment to the developer company’s account – this function helps the developer company in collecting debts after due dates).
The creation of these licences is available after logging in to Licence Manager on the Visual PHP™ Developer Network pages.
An End User Licence protects both the developer company and the author of
Visual PHP™ against any abuse of intellectual property protection acts (e.g. by disabling an end user to provide the purchased product to other users who require the same functionality).
Update Licence
On purchasing a
Visual PHP™ licence you will automatically obtain a
Visual PHP™ Update licence. This licence allows you to download the latest versions of the
Visual PHP™ core free of charge. In this way, you will be enabled to react flexibly to new requirements of the market to which
Visual PHP™ will be continuously adapted. All these updates will be posted on the Web sites of the product.
