Visual PHP™ contains such components that will make the implementation of Google Maps into your projects easier. In addition to it, also components for displaying marks and paths on this map are available so that you do not have to study API for adding additional layers. The Google Map component currently runs on API version 3.

Inserting a map into pages is easy. You have only to insert the Google Maps component wherever you need (into a layout, a template or a document, if necessary).

The following properties are available:

Basic
ID	The identifier of a map object. You will need this identifier in the case you want to insert other objects (marks, paths) into this map. This identifier is also used as the name of the JavaScript variable containing a map object. Consequently, you can continue to work with a map using all API functions and objects.
Width	The width of a map in pixels or percents.
Length	The height of a map in pixels or percents.
Latitude	A GPS latitude coordinate.
Longitude	A GPS longitude coordinate.
Zoom	This represents the default zoom of a map. The values available are 0-21, where 0 is the minimum zoom in (the whole world is visible) and 21 is the maximum zoom in (individual buildings are visible).
Automatic Zoom in to Objects	This will automatically set the zoom in so that all objects are displayed on a map without the necessity to move, zoom in or zoom out the map.
Type of Map	The following types of map are available: Road Satellite         Hybrid Terrain
Controls
Map Type Button	This will display buttons that allow a user to change the type of the map. None Nothing will be displayed. Buttons in One Row Drop-Down Menu
Navigation	This will display navigation controls. None Nothing will be displayed. Small Large
Scale	This will display the current scale depending on zoom.
